Thank you for using SFC Registration. We value your privacy and provide this Privacy Policy to tell how we collect, use and share information gathered about you as you use this System. You accept this Privacy Policy when you sign up or use this System. SFC-Europe reserves the right to update, replace or change the Privacy Policy at any time and without notice. All new features to this System will also be subject to this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the System will be considered your consent to the changes. 2. Students for Christ - Europe is a legally recognized international non-profit organization situated in Belgium. Belgian law applies.
Personal Information
1. We may collect Personal Information from Users in various ways, including, but not limited to, when Users register on the site, or when they sign up for an event.
2. Users may limit or decline to provide certain Personal Information, but doing so may limit the functionality, or make it impossible for the User to sign up for events.
The purpose of the processing of personal information
1. To process your registrations for SFC Europe's events.
2. To give functionality on this system to support you in your registrations.
Lawfulness
1. Our processing is necessary for performing a contract with the data subject, or in order to enter into a contract. (Article 6b of EU's General Data Protection Regulation, Directive 95/46/EC.)

How we collect your information
1. Through cookies. Cookies are necessary for identifying you as a user in the system, and to ensure no other users get access to your information.
2. Through information given to us when registering for an event. This will be information necessary for registering the participants for the event, or for ensuring a good experience for the registered at the event. Some information will be required, while other information can be given voluntarily.
3. Through information given to us as a registered user of this system. This will be information needed to identify who you are, and to give you the services this system can provide for you. Some of this information will be required, while other information can be given voluntarily.
How we use your information
1. SFC-Europe collects and uses Users' Personal information and other information for the following purposes:
  1. To register for a User account.
  2. To improve this system. What we learn from you based on your information and feedback, we will put into improving this System.
  3. To process transactions, including registration fees. We may use the Personal Information Users have provided to process payments. We do not share this information with outside parties, except to the extent necessary to provide the payment service.
  4. To create statistics for the different events.
  5. To send emails about the events for which a User has registered. The email address that users have provided will only be used to send information and updates about the event in question. It may also be used for responding to questions and/or other requests.
  6. For planning the events. The information gathered through the registrations will be used for planning the event, including, but not limited to, booking, room assignments, participant lists and finances.
  7. To provide support. We may use your Personal Information to provide you with support for using this System.
  8. To process payment transactions for accounting purposes.
2. SFC-Europe will try to follow the following guidelines regarding the processing of your data:
  1. Any data used for statistics will be anonymized and only be presented in an aggregated form.
  2. Any data collected for any specific event will be deleted shortly after the event is completed and the data is no longer needed. This does not apply to data regarding payment transactions, which are needed for accounting purposes.
  3. Any data collected will only be shared internally with those who have a task where the data in question is needed.
  4. Should you cancel your registration, we will delete any data we do not need for making sure you get any refunds that may be entitled to you.
3. Sharing your personal information
  1. We will not sell, trade or rent User's Personal Information to others.
  2. We may share anonymous aggregated data with our trusted partners or affiliates.
  3. We may use third-party service providers to perform certain operations, like payment processing. We may share some Personal Information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided you have given us your permission.
  4. We will never ask for any credit card information, and will only process credit card payments through PayPal's secure service.
  5. We may share Personal Information with our software developers, event organizers, and payment processors.
  6. We may disclose Personal Information if required by law or when we deem it necessary in an emergency situation.

How we protect your information
1. We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data, including Personal Information stored on this System.
2. All data exchange between the System and its Users happens over industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology.
3. Though we will do all that we can to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security or privacy of your Personal Information. You agree to transmit your Personal Information solely at your own risk.
4. We will continue to work on increasing your privacy in this system and the safety of the data that have been submitted about you.
